| Got the adjuster stops welded back on, installed the trailing arms with ball joints, and tightened everything down. All that's left is put a tack on the adjuster nut to be able to use my adjuster and sand the beam, paint it. Hopefully saturday or sunday I'll have it installed. |

Installed a accessory back-up light, adjusted my valves, adjusted my headlights, took my speedo apart to address whining gears and re-installed it.
This week I also replaced the bushings in my control arms and on my sway bar. |

Mounted my temp 125's, cranked the adjusters all the way down and giggled when the beam banged on the garage floor when I bounced the front suspension.
Before anyone flames me, the temps are just temporary, I have 175 55's on the shopping list, and I won't leave the adjusters all the way down like that, but it's nice to know I can get it down there if I want to. More than likely, I'll have the adjusters most, if not all the way up. I plan to drive this car regularly and the roads here are sketchy at best. |

This has been a great thread to read.. it's more than anything reminded me the simple things that I need to do on a daily basis.. I'm really enjoying this community.. it's a great testament of what the VW culture is all about.
Anywho.. I removed the tint from my windows, as it was getting a little bubbly.. cleaned the interior and gave it a good cleaning all around..
Tomorrow.. well, I will just have to post that then. |

| Skillfully maneuvered it in congested traffic on a narrow road. The roar of it rose above the din of the lesser vehicles. |

Last night I finished wire-wheeling, rust-proofing, and repainting the battery tray in my vert. Just surface rust, nothing significant--thank goodness.
Also reglued the rear carpet to the hardboard behind the back seat, the edge kept coming unglued. Had to use Liquid Nails to hold it. |

| Valves, timing, dwell, gen/fan belt, fuel line inspection, which became full tranny and pan inspection. Time for new axle boots. Probably time for shocks soon, too. |

And what did you find? :)
I looked at it, and wished I could be driving it. So I'll probably get it out sometime this week. |

Then mount it on you EMPI intakes?! haha, I really don't see what the fuss is about, sure some empi parts are shit, but an intake? I mean it's such a simple thing you can't screw it up. |
