for the same price you can set yourself up with a painting system and get to it... single stage paint job is easy as pie |

I painted those black also when I first got the car. But at least one of them is bent pretty bad (it has a LOT of wheel weights on one side) and I've always wanted a set of 8-spokes. I picked these up for pretty cheap; just touching them up before I buy tires and slap them on the car.
I'll probably keep the steel wheels with their tires for winter/rainy weather driving though.
thats killer that you still have the black and yellow plates. i am stuck with the newer white and blue plates yuck. and hey the wheel will look nice on your ride |

I got my flywheel back from the shop a while ago and put it on that night.
Today.. I was looking through my box of gaskets for my injector seals...."what's this big O-ring for" says I. Then I Homer myself and realize I have to take the flywheel off again, as its the flywheel o-ring that I neglected to install. I remembered ... wrongly.. taking it out. What I found when I opened the flywheel again.. an old hard o-ring. So it probably wouldn't have been catastrophic. But.. still.. stupid. Replaced O-ring and re-torqued. Much easier since I am about done with the engine and took it down off my workbench. |

Received my OEM VW door hinge plugs. Two of the plugs on my car are missing and as a result the passenger door is harder to close because the pins are starting to rust up. So now that I have new plugs, I can grease the hinge pins.
