Just bought a brit fm radio. I have to turn it on 3-4 times before it works. Sometimes there's an immediate fade out of a radio station as i turn it on.'
Fuse seems good, checked wire and intermediate fuse, too.
I'm at a loss.

| Sounds like the volume 'pot' is dirty. Give it a shot of contact cleaner. |

| Yep, I agree. A good dose of contact cleaner followed by some rapid turning of the knob should do the trick. |
