The 1600 CC dual carb engine on my square feels weak.... One time my dad took it & set the timing Or is it a carb synchronisation?.... He's been so busy lately so i need to learn how to do it myself & would appreciate some support, tips ... info. & if u can pictures :) .. wtvr you can do to help me out.

Best book for a VW starter is Muir's "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive." It covers everything from tune-ups to engine rebuilding, written for the novice. Check Amazon, ebay, sometimes here in the classifieds, too.
Whenever your caar seems to drive funny, go thruogh the tune-up procedure (valves, timing, carb) and you will usually find the problem. |
