Hello, anybody know where I could buy a bra for my 73 ghia? Furthermore, I want to know what could I use to cover paint chips and dents/scratches before it starts rusting...until I save enough for a complete paint job. What are all the things you can do to hinder the threat of rust in general? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

Check mid-America.

I am not a big fan of bras, particularly for a Ghia. I don't think I have seen one that does the nose vents right. Over time nose bras can do more harm than good.

I have used touch-up pens, etc in the past. Depending on what you are trying to touch up, results vary from Good to "Ok".

I recently read a good review on this product but have not needed to use it:

Unfortunately, it'll be for limited use... I have to make a long trip with the car on the highway and I'm afraid pebbles and debris will wear on one of the car's biggest assets- the nose. Any inexpensive alternative ways? Or should I just do without a bras and hope for the best?

Keep in mind that unless the bra fits really well it can move and cause wear on your paint. Mositure can also become trapped underneath although it usually needs to be there a while to cause damage.

The bra could actually cause more damage at highway speeds than anything hitting the car.

I have one that the car wears on and off, (mostly on) it came with the car and I don't know where the PO got it but it's nice. It's made of very thick vinyl, lined with "fuzzy stuff" and fits tight so there is no flapping in the wind that would damage the paint. As Nova said, the nose vents aren't right and a poorly fitted or cheaply made bra will chafe the paint in no time but I like the look.

<edit> in all honesty, when I get around to restoring the car, I probably won't use it any longer. A car that sexy looking might just have to go braless

I'm actually happy about the ones of 'Wolf Automotive'

Fits nicely and the vents are a perfect match.

They also attach with 3 hooks in the fenders.

I have a wolf also....on a 72.
It fits perfectly, and the vents are the correct shape...not little round circles. The only mod I made was to have some felt "booties" made to slip over the rubberized hooks.
