Thought i'd post the info up for the Ski Roundtop Swap Meet, it's an aircooled porsche and vw swap meet. We went last year and brought the truck and trailer of VW Parts from the Barn. Since it's just a 'swap meet' but everyone drives their porsche and vws there anyway, i thought the Old City Oil Drippers could caravan out to the Swap to increase the numbers this year! it's super laid back and is a great way to put Faces to Screen names! This would be a cool Stop for anyone heading out to the New Alexandria Show in Pittsburgh or a good swap to hit before the Flanders NJ show.

The Ski Rountop Swap is Sept. 20th in Lewisberry, PA and is not to be missed.
The event is only air cooled parts so no worring about having to duke it out with a bunch of 944 guys!

From Morgantown it's about 1hr 15mins....it's pretty much straight out the Turnpike so it's an easy drive for all those who have never been there before and are considering a caravan out together.

we could have a couple meeting spots along the TP....one around the King of Prussia area, One for us Morgantown peeps, and then all join up at one of the Rest Stops along the way....

just some ideas.... 8)

hoping to get a little more vw scene this year...they don't promote the swap that much around here....even on the 356 Forums it's pretty lowkey.

yeah, since we're selling parts, Ed will want to hit the road early in the morning! i'll talk to him and see what time!

not sure what i'll be driving over though...inspection is up on the square and i haven't been home long enough on the get it inspected! :cry:
...eh, maybe Ed will have the Porsche ready by saturday!
