| So I have a new to me light I bought. I noticed inside a metal braket that seems would dampen the light. Does it help or hurt the light? Is it removable? If removed would it be better? |

someone once told me to remove that reflector.
I changed my 1990 to round H4s before ever trying to remove that reflector, but I was told that it would help with brightness.
I suppose if the reflective surface has worn off then it would be good to get rid of. |
