| Hi is there any places that can make new vin plates from your old one. I see some nice restorations with nice looking vin plates. The vin plate on my 61 ragtop looks like crap. |

You will probably have to punch your own numbers. I won't speculate on the legality of these; it probably varies state-to-state.

I asked my sandblaster if it was possible to lightly blast my body tag, to keep the stampings and not leave too rough of a surface. He said sure, and it came back very nice raw aluminum, just like original. It was about the worst looking one I'd ever seen beforehand. |
