This is NOT comprehensive list, just what I can think of quickly:

60=H rear apron and 4 finger front aprong; 63=smoother rear apron and 2-finger (??not 100%) front apron

fuel tank hole is different to accomodate the larger fuel tank starting 61

shelf for metal brake fluid reservoir is flat in 61, it's a compound-curve recess that also hold washer fluid reservoir in 63

front inspection plates and holes for them different shape

60= no hole for gas gauge, 63= hole for gas gauge

60=4 tab hood, Wolfsburg crest holes; 63=3 hole hood, maybe no crest holes depending on build date, maybe a raised section where emblem mounts depending on build date

heater tubes bigger on 63

taillight housings bigger on 63

The dashboard will have the hole for the gas gauge, they all did starting with the dash redesign in 1958. The actual faceplate won't have the hole in it though if it's original.

Another difference for the fuel tank - the 1960 will have the hole in the body for the fuel tap operating lever, the 1963 won't. The 1960 will have provision on the dash for the extra manual choke knob, 1963 won't/

1960 did not have any heater outlets under the back seat - 1963 had two different styles through the year... early ones had a small Y-pipe branch off next to the battery that fed some paper hoses that would exit in small oval outlets near the center tunnel of the car on each side, the later ones had a large Y-pipe on each sides heater outlet back there that led to larger round outlets on nearer the doors on each side, with a manual open/close lever on each side.

1963 will have sliders over the front heater outlets, 1960 won't.

Good additions.
