When installing the rear spring plates for a long body on a swing axel should I follow the standard position or is there a recommended angle for the lighter body?
Thanks
Hank

This article says the bottom edge of the spring plate should bisect the bottom rear end cap bolt hole. I think it should be just above the hole, but I can pretty much guarantee it will take you a couple times at least to get it right.

Another bit of advice, get the cap on and at least 3 of the end cap bolts started before you retension the torsion bar.

Yes, just above the hole has been the setting to use for the buggies I have done this to. I agree, it most likely will take a time or two to get it exactly where you want it.
