I recently talked to a guy who suggested a mechanic in Keosauqua, Iowa .
he goes by the name Jerry's vw.
just wondering if anyone had any information good or bad about him.

Jerry has a three man shop with two experts on everything VW including transmissions, both manual and automatic. He has almost 40 acres of parts cars and a few used cars. Some of the cars are rare and worth a look for possible restoration. He's not cheap but neither is his workmanship.
