Our '69 ghia currently has a Kph speedo in it, and based on the date code on the back, it's out of a '72. It doesn't look right in the dash, and it looks like on the back of the dash that the hole has been enlarged by bending the sheetmetal back.
Is the '72 speedo supposed to fit in a stock '69 dash? I would like to put the dash back to original, but that might be more work than I have the time to deal with right now.

| IIRC 69-71 is the correct one, but 67 and 68 will also fit, just not correct for year. 72-74 are totally different. |

| Wow, someone forced a 1972 speedo into that slot? Damn. PM me if you want to trade across as I have one or two that would be correct for your year vehicle. I was saving them for rebuilding. |
