| i just bought a rustbox 4" narrowed beam and noticed that the torsion bars are all welded to the control arms. Now my question is, for what reason would that be done? |

Somebody wanted to do an axe murder job and get the car on the road?
Didn't know how, or messed up putting the dimples in the torsion stack?
Maybe had one arm come loose and decided it was safer?
Just poor workmanship. |

| It's actually done for safety. I know it's not required...and it's probably overkill... but we got into the habit of adding a bead to the end of the leafs to the trailing arm outer... after drilling the leafs packs for the grub screws. :) |

That will be a real pain to get off next time!
I never saw a properly installed grub screw come out even in the most severe accidents. |
