11th Annual VW Turkey Run

FREE CAR SHOW - SWAP MEET – CAMPING – CRUISE – PARTY

Presented by the St Augustine Chapter of the S.E.V.W.C. and the O.C.O.D.

Pre-party Friday Nov. 14th
Cars show Saturday Nov. 15th
All at the St John’s Flea Market 2495 SR 207, Exit 311

Pre-party begins 8pm Friday at the St John’s flea market Campgrounds. (next to the show)
Music, Food, Beer, and Fun with camping available at $12/night.
Car Show and Swap Meet Saturday 9am-3pm, pre-registration starts at 9am Nov. 15th.
First 60 Cars receive free gifts! Awards presentation at 1pm with music and trivia.
Food and shopping at St John’s Flea Market, Swap space new and used parts $10 day of show
For all who are interested there will be an after party Saturday night the 15th and a cruise through Old town St. Augustine on the 16th. See the registration booth at the show for more info and a flyer.

I just checked the internet for the Turkey Rod Run down in Daytona and there's 2 weekends in-between Bug Jam and the TRR this year. I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts were on having the show the second weekend instead of the weekend right after BJ? I know some people always remember it because it is that next weekend but maybe we could change it up this year? Thoughts?

I'm gonna vote for the weekend after Bug Jam purely for selfish reasons. I work in retail, and the week of Thanksgiving begins my 2 month "sentence", serving time at work until January :cry:
so I was planning my last vacation of the year between BJ and TR. But I understand the reason to want to move them apart :roll:

I have a feeling you're going to be in luck John. Seeing as I've already posted up the date of the 15th. That and having it right after Bug Jam keeps a lot of the "I’m only here to win a trophy" guys away because they got their fill at BJ, plus we don’t give out trophies. :twisted: Unless you consider a bunch of stuff we melted in the fire the night before that stuck together a real trophy! :shock: If you do, then that’s why you’re at this show and we know you’re real VW volks! 8)
