What's a carpet guard?
Empi & VW both produced a gaurd made of thin Stainless Steel sheet metal in the 50s which was attached to the drivers-side heater channel (near the heat outlet) These can be found for about $20-$50 in NOS condition |

yep thats what these are still sealed up never used..theres two in the package..one for both sides.....thanks for the info |
