Just wanted to give all you guys a heads up on my display of obsolete wheels and old speed parts display this coming Feb. 2009. I have been given a huge air conditoned building at the show on sunday, and I will be filling it with old cal look parts and cars! there will be over 300 wheels on display, all old vw and porsche mag wheels! there will be vintage steering wheels, shifters, guages, badges, valve covers, manifolds, and all kinds of old VW parts! there will be a for sale section inside as well, so you can take some cool stuff home with you. it is connected with a huge weekend vw show in daytona beach, it is slap in the middle of the daytona 500 and bike week!! so if you want to make a small vacation of it, you have some really cool events to check out! here is the name of the show weekend to look it up in the community section of the forums!

hope all of you can make it! It will be covered by ultra vw, volksworld, and super vw, hot vw's has not yet joined the ranks, but I am sure they will soon or miss a huge opportunity to cover one of next years best shows in the USA and the East Coast! :twisted:

I am sure it will be worth your trip Dave! you should arrange hitting bike week and/or the 500 while your here! I have plenty of VW's for you to drive around and for the show if you want too! This goes for you too Thorton!!! :twisted:

yes, those and many other wheels and old speed parts will be on display! there will be over 300 wheels, I am looking into seeing if one of my friends might want to display some of his collection as well! so far I have these people lined up to display in the building as well:
old speed / russ speed parts
mr. empi / danny Z original empi display, old school vintage speed parts
Hurst shifter display / jeff glandnut shifters for sale and restoration!
I will have a couple other vendors and parts displays inside the building as well. this is going to be a great display, and a lot of fun! the US has never seen this kind of a display, and will be one not to miss! :twisted:

Ya know, in all my years living in Jax Bch I only went to Bike week once or twice.

I'll let ya know as the time gets closer for sure though!

We realize everyone doesnt live in Florida, but I believe this event is
being planned to get people from other areas of World to come visit Florida :)

Im sure if you cant make it for Feb 19th - 22nd, 2009, you will probably
be able to read it about in the Mags next year :wink:

here is a link to the show. it will be the "classic" of the east coast starting this year! www.daytonawinterjam.com have a lot to do before then, but it will be one heck of a display and event! :twisted:

very cool. do you have a dual carb set up for sale by chance, vanguard? I have air cleaner, valve covers, ect.... great to know people are bringing stuff! :twisted:
