I have a peka trailer hitch from a bug that Ive fitted to my 72 ghia.
The rear bar (number 2 in the diagram below) doesn't look like it will line up with the ghia bumper. Where is it supposed to attach to on a ghia?
The bumper itself, or the bumper brackets?
If its the bumper itself, how / where do I drill holes in the bumper? Can't really drill them in the middle because of the rubber rubbing strip on the bumper.
Also, when fitting the clamps to the frame horns (number 4 in the diagram), the bolts get in the way of the little clamps that move on the heat exchangers. Any solution for this?

a dremel or die grinder would be my guess, but i cant see to make an accurate judgement of how severe it is.

| I assume you noticed this, but the hitch for fo up to a 71, which the last year of the blade bumpers. You have a 72 which had the square bumpers and has different supports. Although, I don't think the bar #2 would directly mount to a blade either. |
