It should be nice this year..........gates open at 6:30 am for swap........700AM for show. A quarter mile of space to fill. It was really great last year with vw people from all over the town and state [country/ world too!] 165 show cars. Swap should be massive. Its a fun day so come out and bring your ride!

I will correct Volksworker.. :) There were 171 Show Cars last year (ok.. yeah I ran the gate, only reason I remember). This year is bound to be EVEN bigger. Big contingencies from Tucson are rolling in for this one.

I havent heard yet if Dougs is putting on their Saturday show yet... or.. if the Lowlife Cruise has officially been moved to Oct 31st... Cmon Dougs crew...... bark up.

Oh it's gonna be like that huh? I say the Barndoor Single Cab..... 1/2 the people at the show probably havent ever seen one!!

Karl's Custom Show on Sunday, Nov 2nd.

Definitely the BEST VW Weekend of the year here in Phoenix. ALL You Sambanistas, no matter what you drive, I want to see your bright and shiny faces at the Car Show gate on Sun AM.

That is my plan actually... as long as I get all my parts back from powder-coating and re-assemble it in time.

I think his plan was to bring the '59 Ghia, the Flipseat Westy and his Thing... But Im not sure... that's the last I heard.

There are seriously NOT enough late single and double cabs in shows... I loved the one down at Chirco.. Your right.. NOT even enough love for these cars.. but they seriously rock.. Bring it!!

Sorry.. no camping near any of them... though there are some wonderful campsites out near Apache Junction and the Superstitions which are about 15-20 miles away.
