Is there a source for quality replica rubber floor mats?
What mechanical distributor are people happy with for the 40 hp engine?
Thanks, Jim

I have my eye on replacements for Wolfsburg West. Everything else I have received has been great quality. They have the Grey color , which I need for my 65 sedan. I am also going to use them for the original style Uphostery.
On my 65 I have a mechanical 009 Dist. Have been happy, idles good, excels good too!
All 40 HP!!!

Will post pic .

Good luck!

Gordon

Yes, mine has the .009 and felt fine to me. Nice engine bay.

The "double Oh nine" is a pretty good dizzy but it's not the best for the stocker engine by most all opinions.

The 009 uses only mechanical advance (weights) which can end up causing some lag during the acceleration. This is usually "felt" at or near the shift from 1st to 2nd...
The original engine would have come factory installed with an "SVDA" dizzy. This Single Vacuum, Dual Advance dizzy used a vacuum advance mechanism as well as weights which helped even-out the advance curve during the acceleration.
That said; I run mainly with the double oh niner too  but then I almost never have a stock engine either...

The car came with a Flat 4 wood wheel with a separate brushed aluminum hub beyond the wheel center. If I fit a '65 standard wheel is the hub part of the wheel? Thanks, Jim
