Here's a video from our Big Bear run last weekend. You've got to turn the volume up on your computer to really appreciate this, so tell momma to go in the other room!

For those of you that went on the run, I'll be mailing you a DVD of it, so you have a good quality video. Give me a few days.

Both - some drove their cars up, and some trailered them up. We met at the old mine, and the trailers were left down by the road.

You really need to get yours dirty some time, Nick... come to one of the meetings and get some motivation! 8)

That looks like a lot of fun out there. Once I get my 9 car program going I am going to get another baja for sure. Most likely build my own little full cage 3x3 warrior beam 1776 car or something like that.

Time will tell.

I would like to. Ive got a few things to finish that I dont know when I can and I would need to trailer it.
I am concerned about the reliablilty of my van after having a few problems with the tranny right after I had it rebuilt.

Then you should drive the baja to the runs! You do have plates for it? Start with a few short freeway runs, and increase the distance until you feel confident it will go all the way.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, I am going to take it out tomorrow morning for a spin and start driving it to work on Tuesday.
It has plates and is registered, but No E-brake :shock:

If you guys go out once a month I will make it some day. :wink:

Great Video. It looks like you guy's are having a pretty good time. I'm kind of a long time lurker, mostly due to me working in Iraq all the time, but I finally put in my resignation and will be back in the high desert for good at the end of September.

I'd like to hook up with you guys for a spirited drive, but I got my wife pregnant in June, so I am not sure she will be convinced to cruise around with me in the baja for a few months..

Great Job on the video though.. If you guys ever end up posting pictures to flickr be sure to add your shots to my baja bug group. 189 pictures and growing!

Cool Vid! One day I will be back in So CA and I'd love to hang with you guys. It is stuff like this that really makes me miss it.
