| I am picking up a set of 40/44 solex carbs with intake and linkage next week. I read on another post that these are kads, is that so? Who else is running these on their bajas and are they any good? |

I ran 40mm kads on my 1776 for my old buggy on that motor they did great but for off road be sure and get them vented and fuel pressure is important i kept mine at 1.5-2.0psi(cant remember exactly). They were easy to set up as well mine were new and they were pretty good out of the box.
when i went to a 1914 i went with idfs |

| hi there. i also use kadron 40's,and in the mildest of bumps they flooded all over exhausts!!! Hmmm nice. I read in a book that you can drill and vent the foat bowl,or extend the breather internaly.but it wasn't very clear as to how to do it properly. Does any one have any ideas or know a site i can visit to find out? thanks in advance,Gary. |
