I got this giah first off....
jacked way up, rackanpinion off something, radiator for watercooled swap, huge lift, huge wheels and tires, blah blah blah....

Then there is this motor that was supposed to go in it...
ford 2.3 turbo converted to carb...ran when removed from svo. he added the adapter plate for VW and lost interest.

AND THEN there was this glass body... anyone put a name to the face with this thing?

sorry for the cell phone pics...

i still have to pick up one more beetle, motor, mountain of vw rims, pan with tranny, parts parts parts... already got one full truck bed of parts.

and yes i got a good deal

hahaha! ohh man ive got memories of hauling home loads like that, one of my goals when i get older is to stock pile huge amounts of parts to car to give away to ambitious kids and those who have the urge to build things.

good luck with the ghia, looks like it would make a good project.

I wish I could find something in descent shape but its slim pickings down hear . Its either more than I can spend or is so rusted away its not worth trying to do anything with.

JEDI PIMP Sun Aug 31, 2008 4:36 pm

Everything i just picked up is for sale.
I dont have alot of time for multiple projects.
I have a handfull of titles for VWs now too....

If you know anyone who wants the whole engine/adapter let me know...
The ghia will be sold as a roller with possibly a tranny... and sold cheap. the neighbors already are hatin!

LSK Mon Sep 01, 2008 2:05 pm

I need a turbo block for my buddies ranger, maybe we can worksomething out. PM me on how much you want for both the engine and adapter.

GhiaBateman Mon Sep 01, 2008 5:45 pm

LSK... pm ed you.
engine is in the classifieds.
Its cheaper than the salvage yard.

I know someone wants this ghia!
I have not listed it yet in the classifieds.
Its a ghia body on a tube frame set up with radiator for the 2.3 swap.

If someone buys engine i might just throw in the ghia for little to no cost.... it will not have a tranny in it but i can add one for cost of labor.

JEDI PIMP Tue Sep 02, 2008 6:23 pm

Price on the engine drastically reduced to attract buyers who are looking to ship it. 550 bones

The ghia will be listed tonight. probly 250-300 bucks.

How much for just the adapter? Ihave two Pinto engines myself. One carb'd and one fuel injected. Which both could be for sell.

JEDI PIMP Tue Sep 02, 2008 6:51 pm

Ive had a few offers for just the adapter, flywheel and hardwear.
I will be selling just those parts if the turbo engine is bought first.
It is listed in jacksonville craigslist.
I attempted to post it on some mustang forums but they require a 50 post count to post in classifieds...

Ill take the adapter off first for the right offer...

im interested in a 60gal air compressor for trade for some stuff.
