St. Petersburg checking in (although I'm in Gainesville for my PhD at the moment). My '67 was bought new in Tampa (at Birdsong Motors, which is now Reeves Import Motor Cars) and lived it's life in Large-O. I'm the second owner and the car stays at my house in St. Pete.

where at in naples and I gather you have heard of Otto's VW and the volksaholics vw club that meets on the first saturday of the month at the corner of airport and pineridge around 6pm along with the cool cruisers car club and the west coast muscle car club btw nice bus. |

Pensacola, probably the worst f@#king place in Fl. as far as a VW scene or anything to do for that matter. That is unless your a retired Navy aviator or snowbird tourist. Tucked in the armpit of Alabama, and literally as far away from any VW action that you can without leaving the state!
