I'm just trying to ensure it's not one of the $129 ones before I spring for it.

Guy's asking $100 for it, and I don't know one rack from another if it doesn't have a brand name stamped on it...

Baja five would the cheap copy be missing the grease fitting like the Latest Rage version of the Wright rack?

I don't know, i have never owned the cheap copy.Mine has the zerk on the top, with the rack installed.In that pic it should be on the side that the rack is sitting on i would think,

Make shure it's not a front steer rack for an a-arm setup.

Hmmm- what's the difference? Anyway, I guess it's too late now, cuz I bought it. It is a SACO (polished!), and it did come off of a beam, so I'm hoping I'm ok on it.

If you need a u-joint to fit the spline on theat rack I might have a spare.

How often do these need to be serviced? What type of grease?

Can it be mounted with the tie rods attaching to the top OR bottom? It looks like, based on the location of the manufacturer name and grease zerk, that the tie rod attach tab should be facing down...

The tie rods are below the rack. Thats a major score the baby Saco is over $300 these days!
