Evening All- I have just bought my first Ghia today and I am beyond psyched. Anyway, over the past two days I have moved from a 1965 VW bug to a 1965 Ghia. 8)
Anyway, I was checking out the car during the purchase stage and I noticed that there is an oval opening under the front bumper. Through this you can see the horn etc. Is there supposed to be a cover or something to protect garbage from entering the front? :? Looks like this opening would be a good cheat incase you can't open the hood with the pull in the cab.

You are correct. There is supposed to be a boot.
