howdy gang,
My grandson and I are re doing the brakes in our '64 Ghia zoombuggy.
The rear brake parts were in a box and not on the car and I can't find the Idiots manual.

we are wondering if the e brake arm goes on the inside or outside of the rear shoes?

thanks
hank

When I got this Ghia (in 1971)it was hit on every corner and the nose was pushed into the spare tire well.
the kids wanted to learn how to drive in the back 40
about 15 years ago my son and I pulled the body off and chopped the floor pan 14 1/2" then welded it back together.
we then cut the body to fit - no back seat
built in the dune buggy style but since we don't have any dunes around here we call it our Zoom buggy
to my great pleasure now the grandson wants to get it going again-
sorry it hurts your eyes the kids enjoy it.

Thanks Airhead

OMG!!! (sorry...)

Very cool, three generations coming together on the same project! Have fun getting it running again. You should give it a rattle can "urban assault vehicle" paint job...

BTW, what's the blue rope for?

73 that is the paint job we are looking for
but I'll let the kid paint it how he wants

Blue rope is the fuse-
(it is a tow rope) engine took a stick to the push rod tubes
