  View original topic: Limiting straps location?

I need some ideas as to where to mount my rear limiting straps. In front of the shock or behind? can someone post some pix or point me in the right direction to view some. if it helps any I am running 3x3s and king 2.5x14 shocks with a full cage. thanks guys

here is how i did mine... the adjustable clevises are inside the car and attached to the cage with some tabs/sleeves. i cut a 4 inch square hole in the bottom of the rear package tray where the strap passes thru. i also made a rubber gasket with a slit (oohh, i like that word) and attached the gasket to the package tray with some strips of metal and pop rivits....



and i made some shock booties too :shock:

If they are not tied into the cage and the cage tied into the car right then you will eventually tear something up. The cage should be tied into the torsion housing three timessss. Don't forget the horns.
