| well i got the baja all ready for its 2nd shackdown up in the high desert. had a few problems on its first and hopfully got thos all takin care of. nows its time to see what els will break. while i had the motor out i adjusted the rear torsions one spline as well. wish me luck and hopefully she will be ready for desert season thats just around the corner. |

| The real trick is not to push the car past its capababilities and to give the car a once over checking for worn parts, hoses and electrical connections and loose fasteners before the ride. Redesign anything that fails mor than once. |

| took the baja out to barstow this morning. the only issue i had was that the air filter fell off. the bolt for the intake came lose and the filter hit the fan houseing and see you later it said. i picked up a new one on my way back to the g/f's moms house, so ill be taking it out agin tonite. i hope. ill have pics up soon |

I put a strap over mine to prevent it from happening again. I never found the one that fell off my 1600 cc engine.

| Drill a small hole in the lip, and safety wire that biatch to the nearest point. I would look cleaner that way, and every race car loves safety wire!!! 8) |
