I put on a new heater box (DansK) and noticed it doesn't have a drain hole like the factory one. Do I need have one as in... will the new heater box rust away faster as a result?
Thanks |

I'ld have to look to be sure, but isn't the outer shell made out of aluminum? Also would standing water be a problem if it can only get in there when the engine is running, and would be evaporated? The original hole may have been stress relief not drainage. |

I do not know how important it would be for stress relief but mine has been more for standing oil  |
