Ok guys I know all the lingo here but I need help identifying the torsion bars in my 9 car. I am going to be replacing them but it helps knowing where you are starting to decide where I am going so to speak
It is a stock swing axle torsion housing with an adjuster in it. The bars have stamped on the outside 1125 1091 I am assuming they are 25mm bars but that is all I got.
Any ideas? |

| Did you try measuring them with a pair of calipers? You can get decent ones at HF for <$15. I've found that they come in VERY handy. |

They are still in the car and will most likely be pulled out this weekend.
Nice try on the sale but I will most likely be going with 24mm bars in this car... its only a single seater with a lot of shock.
Here is a pic or what it will be and what it is currently.

| Look on Sway A Way's website. They should have listed all the part #'s for their bars. Those #'s sound like SAW part # and date code on the end of the bar. VW bars don't have that info on the ends. |

You say you have an adjuster already installed??
Why Not?? Just adjust what you have now. |

| I am going to a bigger shock and I will put more of the load on the shock vs the t-bar. It will perform better going this route. |
