I'm full of questions tonight.

Here's one that's been on my mind for awhile:

When I updated my diesel radiator to a 91, I decided to use the newer fan also (well . . . 'decided.' I can't use my old fan with this shroud)

So I grabbed the wiring harness, bought a new resistor and hooked it up.

Here's the question:

This relay has a lot of wires coming out of it. All I did was hook it up to the temp sensor, the fan, 12v and ground. It works fine.

At least some of the other wires are for the AC switch, i'm sure. But why so many? There are like . . . four more wires going into this thing. What's all this for?

Is it all AC related?

I'm thinking about making a switch and hooking it up so I can turn the fan on whenever I'd like.
