This is for my Manx Clone.
Will I be disappointed if I buy the $150 Race Trim Seats instead of the $300.00 Beard or PRP Seats? |

| I have always been told you get what you pay for when it comes to off road seats. |

So what you are saying is that you aren't very happy with the PRP seats? |

| It is just tube and 3/5 foam. ok for a little time but long hauls lacks everything. I added more padding and changed the frame a little. it made it better but not great. I am a big guy so that does not help either. |

| I got the black/black, cloth/vinyl race trim seats and have been using them since april. They are very comfortable and wrap around nicely. Good for long rides. The only downside is I fit perfectly in them and I am about 5'9'' 190 pounds. So if you are a bigger guy then I sould step up to a wider seat. Ohh and a reclining feature would be nice but not sure if they make reclinable suspension seats. |

I have PRP Suspension seats, while they are comfortable, about 500% better than poly, I would look at others before buying PRP'a again.....

| I run race trim seats now and for the price are a decent seat. My riding buddy ran his a full season before I got mind. The only down side is (Im sure its the same with all supension seats) when they get wet they stay wet. |

I think i have knock off Beard seats. haha There is no labels on them but there comfy. They fit a smaller people better well so if your a bigger person they aren't the best in the world. I like what i have but i wish i had the spare cash to have leather......

The best advice I can give (and could help in SeaBeeBuggy's case) is find a place to sit in one before you buy it. Proper fit plays in to how comfortable you will be in the long haul (and on long hauls!). My Beards are super comfortable for me - most of a day in one and my daughter and my wife both tell me they get uncomfortable riding shotgun. This is alot like buying a helmet - the better it fits you, the more comfortable it will be.
Mastercraft, PRP, ad Beard all have very similar quality IMHO.... |

| Poly rules! You guys are all a bunch of wusses with your haute couture suspension seats. If my boney a$$ can take poly then I'm sure you potato chip eating coach potatoes can take it on you padded rumps. |

My biggest complaint is that most seats have a single slot for the shoulder harnesses to come through and the seat belts really start to rub on your neck.the mastercraft seats have dual slots so the harness are spaced apart.Wifey is heading to Mastercraft tomarrow.
