| I checked some mfg sites and can not find a hood for sale list. I'm looking at buying a project from someone and it only has the tub. No hood, windshield or dash. Not even sure what brand. |

Hoods pop up from time to time on the Samba's "classified" forum, also look on "Craigs List" and E-Bay...

| Might want to call if there are any builders local to you; I know that the builder out of Atlanta does not offer it on their website but was willing to do one in any gelcoat I wanted, He was repairing the his mold at the time and he asked me to call back in a couple of weeks, but I have decided to repair the one I have. Also the Manx Club still sells them but shipping was expensive. |

I would sell my hood. I have a original Manx hood, and an NOS plastic Dashboard. I am in Clearwater Fl. My hood needs to be painted, and some sand marks filled with filler primer or so. You can come and look at it. I may also be selling my new:

| Thanks, I replied to all PM's on this item. I also have 2 new Wolfsburg West Floor pans, 1 shortened really nicely, and the other is uncut ready to be shortened. I bailed out on my chassis after finding no confidence in the Florida Buggy shops. My buggy is getting a David Barrett Chassis build, and will no longer have the vintage look. So my vintage items will all be sold. |
