| Hello to all. I've had two beetles in the past, neat little cars. Been keeping my eye out for a fair priced Ghia. Picked mine up today for an awesome price. Runs and drives great. Body work will be the main attention point. What floor pan manufacturer do you all recommend? Will post pics later on. |

There is only one manufacturer of "whole" Ghia floor pans in the world and so no matter who you order the pans from they're all originating in Denmark at the same factory.
If you opt to replace your floor pans, ensure you keep your original seat rails if you plan to use your original seats since the new pans are not nearly as finished as Beetle pans are and will require you to weld-in your original seat rails after some clean-up work to them.
The seat rails are left and right side specific so don't mix them up during the extraction/clean-up/installation because they can be installed backwards (ie: L welded into the R pan and vice versa)
Additionally, the Ghia pans will not include the jacking hard points and will also require a few metal seams to be welded closed. There is also a bit of modification usually (always so far) needed to the passenger side floor pan near the front 18" of the inner lip to get the best fit.

| Thanks for the floor pan update. I'll keep your advice in mind when replacing them. |
