Greetings!
I thought it might be a good time to start sharing pics of my buggy build. I have been hanging out (quietly) in this forum for about a year just like Teddy Wong of the "Wongs". It has been quite an education to say the very least!

The buggy is a 56' Pan and had a 73' 1600cc motor. I am still not sure who manufactured the body. I will try the DBA to see if they can ID it. It is definitely not a Manx. It sat for nearly thirteen years outside and was still in fair shape but the engine was completely full of water! <--I chose to buy a new long block and carry on.

This project is definitely on a budget with the motor and paint (soon) the only major expenses. The goal is to get it back on the road for now and then be sneaky and go crazy with the add-ons, right?!!

Those of you who are married w/ children will understand...

Thanks!
James

I am sorry did not want to confuse you by my laughter, but I know what you mean by sneaking and getting parts when you are married. The buggy looks great so far and I look forward to seeing the final result. Keep up the good work and the attention to detail.

Thanks!
Trying to budget this thing is getting harder with every task I accomplish. The closer I get to finishing the more I want to buy everything all at once!

You have 2 options: What would you like for Christmas/Birthday?
1. Money for the buggy (I've been saying this for 4 years now)
2. Here is the web page and part #

Wow that chassis is kickin' good work!

Got any plans for the old exhaust off the buggy?
Send me a PM!
Thanks

Looks good. I have the same body. When I checked the DBA it shows it as a glitterbug. That battery box under the back seat is nice to have. Keep up the good work.

Glitterbug has a tail box that is larger than the cut out on the back of his.
We have determined that it is a Kellison Sand Piper SP1 Roadster.
There is a better thread on the Archives forum under ID.
