| On my dune buggy I have spindle mount wheels and not the stock wheels with the hubs. I am trying to hook up a speedo and cable but don't know how. I have disc brakes in the rear. If anyone knows how that will be great and all the items i will need to hook it up. |

| If you need the speedo because this is a street buggy then I suggest you get some front brakes on it first. If off road then you can use a speedo for a bicycle, electronic with the magnetic sensor that attatches to the wheel. They are programmable for tire diameter. |

| You can always use a GPS that has a mph read out. |

Doesn't a spindle mount wheel fit on to the stock VW spindle? if so, then all you really need is a dust cap for the left wheel with a square hole in it to drive the stock VW speedo cable.
Why overcomplicate things? |

There are several options, depends on how complicated you wan to go......
Simplest is to use VW or modified dust cap and stock VW speedo or get Hall effect transducer (driven by speedo cable) and programmable electronic speedo (best option to calibrate) .. There is also other options as using induction pickups and magnets and/or star wheels in back of wheel or on rear drums or IRS CV joints.... Many choice...
Might want to read up on how electronic speedo's can be "triggered"...
