| So where can one find a new boot that covers the accelerator cable as it enters the engine bay? All the major online vendors don't carry them. Are they even replaceable? |

| That boot comes on the complete accelerator cable assembly. I change out the whole thing everytime I get a vanagon. | I bought mine from Bus Depot. I don't have the part number anymore but you could get it from the dealer. |

| I was wondering about fitting something like the brake cable boots found on bicycles or something else maybe? |
