| If your leaving it titled as a VW it wont be a problem but just remeber if you get pulled over by a cop that was bornin the 80s you may have to explaine how its a kit car on a VW chassis. I had a buggie when I lived in FLa it had the origanal bug title and I was 17 then and got pulled over a hew times for burn outs and acting crazy and vever had any trouble of coarse this was 15 year ago now but I dont hink alots changed. |

Welcome knotsvw.
I'll second what Nic says, the euor-nova site is a wealth of knowledge. However, I will contend that its not 100% Sterling. We also chat about Sebrings (my fav, but I'm biased cuz its what I have in the garage!), Nova's, and Eagles. :D |

Welcome, knotts! Are you sure it doesn't have a serial number? What's on the driver side sill, next to the dashboard? There should be some sort of stamp there, unless a previous owner was doing bodywork and filled in the section. But, not to worry. Most kits are registered from their pans and running gear, so as long as you have a VW pan with a valid title, there should be no issues. As Nic and MDSuess said, join us over at EuroNova for more specific discussions, and don't forget to register at www.nationalsterling.org and send in some photos!
