what caught my attention was
it has slidder windows (original for a 78-79,not a 70)
this plus repaint 5years ago make me wonder just how original it is
what i want to know is has anyone seen a what looks like a rivi camper interior
on a sunroof bus before....
the cruize controll & sentimental value of original owner
do make it a 20k bus  |

I hear that. I replaced my license plate light seal less than a year ago and of course it's super cracked already. I go to replace it with another one, from a different vendor this time, and the thing doesn't fit right. Also, it appears it's starting to crack ALREADY.
Well that's the end of my license plate light seal. Lasted about a whole month or so. First one was from Wolfsburg West, the second from CIP1 I believe. Junk, the both of them. I ordered a used one from the classifieds. Hopefully the 40 year old one will last longer than the new ones. |

Last of the big motors? More like last of the underpowered.
Even if he meant bug motors, he's still technically wrong. Early bus motors were made specifically for busses and had mounts for a mustache bar on the engine.
Right? |

No, and for an asking price of £12,000 the sender should have been checked out and replaced if neccessary, and I don't mean a hack job of cutting a hole behind the back seat either, a full engine out job! |

It seems they are saying $999 :?: here on the Samba, or €699 ($935) on eBay :?:
EUR €1 = USD $1.33
GBP £1 = USD $1.52
At £300 this one did'nt sell first time around, despite over 220 views:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120536954142&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
and relisted here:

Cheap at a third of the price? no outer pod or time clock, but it's mounted in it's inner pod with the fuel gauge and warning lights (spot the upside down instrument!).
One of my long term wants is a black face MPH trip speedo for a late bay, but no way would I pay €699.
As for £300, if I had an early bay and was desperate enough for one, with money burning holes in my pockets....maybe :-k but I would want the outer pod, with an OG hole for the reset switch in OG glass.
There is gold in them thar bays! |

i have came accross the speedo with trip in kph
in the $100 range from time to time
no matter how bad desperation & cash maybe
i just cant see anyone paying half of 999 in any currency
if it was in mph
& the clock had a heater timer in
then maybe someone might pay that kind of money
this ad is not a whine but more of a :-k :?:
i just dont get it

Kewl like that doesn't come cheap, it's not about how well it works, it's all about how sick you look when you roll up in that turd. Oddly enough those safety stars that sit on the license plate are big with that crowd :? |
