And I'm not so sure that's a good deal. There are still 5 days left in bidding. It is a N.E. truck and there could be a plethora of surprises on the under carriage. Flat black paint also hides a lot of flaws. That truck needs to be seen first hand.
Looks pretty crusty. I do see a clock in the dash, though. |

Hmmm... nice solid bus but....upright conversion (says W tin but I can see road), dents, needs a buffing, cracked tires, no mention of rebuild on the engine ("max tune up" :? ), etc..., strong money for alot of unresolved issues. :? |

I am always curious when folks never put the actual year of the vehicle in their for sale ads. |

Was $10,900, dropped to $9900, now back to $11.5k. Updated? The paint was buffed out. Really? Thats your explanation? |

No, but seeing a filter and unclamped hoses in the pressure line there's not much need in looking any further. |

Maybe he thinks that the riveted plate on the dash and the stamped frame numbers matching means "matching numbers". |

Maybe they buff them to 'satin" in Devine, Tx. |

I came in to bitch about this one. He says "one of the nicest, original buses around". Uh, excuse me but other than maybe the paint and parts of the interior, it aint too original. Upright conversion? you mean you put an upright engine in and forgot to do the conversion part (correct tins). You can see through to the concrete. Ugh, and teh interior? What the hell is that stove? Not VW...not original. No stoves in 72. This is maybe a $5k bus on a good day....and I only would consider it because it is (supposedly) original paint. |
