let me start off with how retarded i feel for being so hasty.
i am still learning the ways of my 1600DP, and i obviously have much more to learn. i have had problems with my engine cutting off when i release the accelerator before, but all i would do was remove the pilot jet and clean it. everything worked fine after that. but this time, i was too eager to get on my way, and i turned the idle speed adjustment a few times before i realized that i was on the wrong side of the carb.
now i cant get her out of the driveway until i fix this.
i've consulted my bently, but i dont have a tachometer. so i dont know what to do.
can anyone provide me with some way to fix this without a tach? (and do so in the simplest terminology possible?) |
