Got my heat running this weekend (damn flaps).Just do not understand the "T" coming up from the front floorboard (taking heat to either floor or defrost).I have the cable but i like need to see a pic of how it hooks on to the linkage.I may be missing either linkage or something as the T does not quite extend the full space it is supposed to and when i hook the cable (as best as i can guess where to put it) there is no movement of the flapper in the T...Tried my best to explain it here!

Ahhhh you are right. The metal part has come uncrimped around the plastic. The cable appears fine. How does one get at the cable to recrimp it and how does the other end (of the cable) hook to the T?The top end is in a bracket under the dash .Hard to reach.

Both ends of the outer sleeve are attached to the bus with spring clips, one end goes into a slot on the bracket and the other snaps over the edge, lift the bent over end to release.
