Was it a beige Westy? I saw him too, on the side of the road to Las Vegas broken down.
Something happened with his system causing his battery to superheat and basically implode. The smell was horrible.
We parted ways as he was headed back to Kingman (in a different bus) for a new battery.
Hopefully everything was ok with a new battery. |

| i recently helped my bro in law hook up a trial system on his ford f150. no real issues and some suprising changes in fuel economy. there was room in front of the radiator for the cell and a dryer.you do not want any moisture getting to the injection system. we are talking about trying one on my carb'd bus. as opposed to being able to feed directly into the FI on the ford we are going to try to figure how much we can lean out the air/fuel and replace with the hydrogen. i hope i don't fry the engine but i plan on replacing it soon anyway. |

You should have a full complement of gauges when you do this, in particular CHT. Then you'll see a lot more about how it's working, and won't have to worry about frying the engine. Makes it a little more scientific too! :-p
Cool!

imploded his battery? how did he manage to create a micro-black hole in his engine compartment? that sucks...... :P just kidding ,
keep us posted, I'm making my bus run on stems, seeds and patchouli oil a true hippy mobile! haha |

Takes energy to make energy!!!!!!!! and the amount of hydrogen needed to augment/run a motor is ALLOT more then that kind of set up can produce.
If your dead set on one of those systems try mine instead.
send me 500$ and i'll sell you some magic "fuel" pills. Act now and I'll throw in a device that creates a wind vortex in your intake. |

rotorimp.......BS! My neighbor and I have already installed a Hydrogen system on his 88 Suburban and we are working out the kinks.............it is viable, and effecient at this time.
And as for it takes energy to create energy.........no shit sherlock!, but not enough to blow a battery. Get your facts in order of stfu! |

| The battery blew because, 1, it was old and 2, because the alternator was working over time trying to keep the battery charged, thus a higher voltage, and also power that water decomposition system that couldn't produce enough H2O gas to make any difference, but did overload the charging system. Did you notice, when he turned the switch on, the engine slowed down from the drag of the alternator. Nice try but no cigar! |

Rrrrrright never said it blew up the battery.
Your the reason these myths stay perpetuated and this crap still sells

P.s. How much did you neighbor spend on it?
Point of "it takes energy to make energy" you "WILL NEVER" get more than you put in. THERE IS NO PERPETUAL MOTION.
P.S. let me guess what those Kinks are hahahahahahhahahah |

I saw one of these "systems" in the back of what was once a beetle the other day. There was plenty of room for it where the owner had welded on a set of '57 chevy tail fins and trunk. I'm certain that helps the linear stability, and the vortex created by the fins actually impels the car forward at a greater speed than the torque and wheel speed produced by the car on it's own. Kind of like drafting.
It was "really cool" and I can tell just by looking that both systems, especially when used together, must be exceptionally "effective" at something. The thing that really convinced me was the third '57 Chevy tail fin on the ROOF. THAT made it look like a V2 rocket. Obviously, this part was critical to the overall operation of the system and increased available horsepower a LOT - while decreasing fuel consumption!!! I mean JEEZ, you just had to just LOOK at that thing to feel like it was fast!! It HAS to work. I know that this is true cause I read it somewhere on-line in an ad on the Internet! How could it be bullshit ?!?
I want some of your fuel pills rotorimp. I'm thinking all the passengers and driver could snort them and that would make a bus FEEL really fast and highly efficient. Jesus. Some people will believe ANYTHING, science, facts, reality be damned.
In the immortal words of Jeckel: That sounds logical!

Wile E. Coyote
Rule 2: No outside force can harm the Coyote -- only his own ineptitude or the failure of Acme products. Wile E.'s ineptitude, possibly a by-product of his distracted obsession with catching Road Runner, is compounded only by the Acme company's products - which may work for other customers, but seem never to work for Wile E., who repeatedly risks life and limb counting on their effectiveness. |
