I was sitting with my cousin.... who's american & she's into retro cars like myself & said I should name my car ... it's harder than naming your own baby! So i thought i could get ideas here :D
PS: Squarebacks are definitely females! |

My 71 is 'Mark Pfennig'
-or 'Bronco' after the Broncos Football team; who, like my Square, wear Orange and Powder Blue - Real 'Tough Guy' colors.

I call my 65 'The Money Pit', as well.
I, too often, call it 'in the way'
But I affectionately call it, 'Cricket'
I haven't named my 68 yet. |

interesting observation. most cars let you know after a while what gender they are. i will find myself referring to it as "he" or "she" without thinking about it, and then you know.
i'm still waiting for my Ghia to announce. my daily driver is a PT Cruiser convertible, and that's a chick. her name is Gert. oddly enough, my Jeep is also female, but butch.
i tried out "Three-ah" for the Type 34, but it didn't stick. i've referred to it as "she" but it doesn't come out right. i need to drive it more, then i should know. |

| The PO of our square had named him "Stein." I don't usually call him by that name, but it's what I think of when a name comes to mind. |

| I guess I'm one of the exceptions with a female name. The whole story behind "Heidi", was my ex drove a new beetle, and that car was a lesbian (Don't ask, haha), and my car was the girlfriend. My ex called it Heidi and it just stuck. Fits really well too. |
