...without using the switch?

Brown will be ground, then touch each terminal with power. One is fast, one is slow and other is return to park position. The park position will only engage the motor if it is off park, like half way through a stroke.

What happens if there is nothing from the motor? I tried this and get nothing... no noise. it will not even move?

Is the wiper assy in or out of the bus? Do you have a test light? Did you use a known power wire, like one directly off the hot side of the fuse box or battery?

The assembly is out of the bus. I attached one wire to the ground of a 12V battery (brown) and touched one of the other ones, not the green and black. There is nothing.

Just went to the garage and tested a spare wiper assy I have. Attach the ground to the motor case, touch positive to the either of the terminals that are black or have a greeen, not the brown, there should be two others, the motor should engage.

Ok, I am going to try that.... Give me a sec.

Great! it runs, but blows the fuse when installed .... after it runs for a bit.

Than could be several things, what is the amp rating of the fuse? Could be the rods dragging inside the shafts, they can be pulled, cleaned and lightly lubed. Do all the pivot joints for the arms still have good bushings.
