| We just replaced the trans, I had no reverse.... Now reverse is all I do have! What have we adjusted improperly? |

| yes that is correct. did you take it out for any reason? did it get moved? this is a pretty semi common problem that requires a lot of tweaking to get the plate just right. but if you only replaced the tranny then i'm guessing you didn't even take out the shifter. |

| The problem was that the damn thing was dropped in shipping. It landed on the shifter forks and bent just a hair, just enough to keep the lever from going from reverse into any other gear. A little grinding fixed that... |
