At least it's all one color. And besides, it's my winter beater!

Did you spray or roll it?I sprayed mine and it came out like this http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2949808&highlight=#2949808 I know you can't really see it on the pictures well but thats all I have.Good job, looks better than before.

Did you use any hardener? I'm getting ready to spray my Jetta with Tremclad and was wondering if anyone has had any luck using a hardener with it.

A lot of people have tried to discourage me from using Tremclad but seeing stuff like this gives me hope. They claim the shine doesn't last but the bed of my doublecab has been painted with it for over a year and it still looks good.

So! It would seem that there is at least one Province of Canada, which has a statutory, annual roadworthiness inspection, similar to the British MOT test!?! :D

Now, I'm just waiting to find out wheter at least on state of the USA, has yet seen the light!?!

So! It would seem that Nova Scotia, is at least one Province of Canada, which has a statutory, annual roadworthiness inspection, similar to the British MOT test, but then as Nova Scotia is essentially "New Scotland", I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised!?! :D

Now, I'm just waiting to find out whether at least on state of the USA, has yet seen the light!?!

I've seen so many times references to trimclad and Rustoleum. Is this the same Rustoleum that folks are referring to:

Thats it Barefootwestie. Ive used it on a poptob before. Turned out great. Never used it on the actual bus though. Can you get it colored at a paint shop? I would consider using it, but I like stock colors.

I just think it's somewhat humorous, as I've used that stuff for years around the house and never given much thought to it. And all of a sudden people are using to paint vehicles. :D

Not sure about the tinting, but I would find it hard to believe that you couldn't find a shade that you might want based on the colors found on their website.

that's what i used on mine:

only i thinned mine down and sprayed it instead of rolling it. it turned out ok, especially for a first time painter.
