What is good hose to run for the defroster and the heater hose? I found a site that sells the original german hoses, but i heard that they are not good to get because the cardboard inside them rots.

| that's a pretty good site. i order from them frequently. i've never had a problem. i mean, yeah i've had to change them but i'm pretty sure they were the original ones as they just about crumbled in my hands. but the new ones are still going strong after a few years of use. |

It's hard to find anything else that fits right and that's important for the ones in the A pillar because they must slip on and stay without a clamp.
I used paper. Went in easy and are still OK. Just be sure the corner of your windshield doesn't leak and a good hood seal helps.
While I'm on it check your wiper seals cause if they leak your radio gets wet!
