do i need to run these from the heater boxes to the hose, and then off the hose to the bakelite? Or can i just attach the insulated hose to the heater box and the bakelite by itself?

| It'd probably be a good idea if you want a proper fit. They act as insulators and spacers. |

| Read the ad. The rubber goes on the bakelite tube. The metal slinky attaches directly onto the heater box. You really should use the rubber on the bakelite. It makes a good airtight seal so no stinky motor smell will enter the cabin and no loss of heated air. |
