Pedro can make about any rack you want. If it is a first one, he prefers to have the car there to fit it to.

The really cool part of my rack is the mounting. The legs are bent to be perpendiculay to the roof so the holes drilled can be round. 4 rubber grommetts and it's water tight. Just 2 wires go up through the bolt on the right front and the lights ground through the cage.

Well, its not my Baja, but it was my Dads back a few years ago. The thing was a blast. I still wish he still had it :(

my old 65-- der corvagen--140 corvair wirh 4 carbs--2.7liter

Its the old otto parts transvair kit. I wish I had put a bus trans in with a reverse rotation cam--that woulda been the cat's ass...
I ran a custom tri-y header and a mustang muffler. sweet, smooth and torquey.
I found the trick to posting photos--you need to have photos posted in the gallery here so they don't expire--then you hit reply in the forum where you want and flatline it. then you bring up a separate frame of the gallery search "my photos" click on the photo you want and 2 one line text boxes will appear--right click on the top one- it's the photo url--it will turn blue--left click and click "copy" in the drop box.
flatline that frame and bring up your post/reply box in the forum--type whatever intro you want, hit the enter key to scroll back--
like this-- and click on the [img] icon-- left click and click PASTE in the drop box. your image url[address] will appear caboosing the [img] icon.
click [img] again so you have bookends and it will appera after you hit submit. It took me 6 months to grt this---

My first VW.. 1970 Baja Bug. 1500 SP, plan on doing lots of painting, sanding, and wrenching. Picked it up for $750, got it running and very close to driving for just under a grand. Main reason I picked it up is 1) get a project 2) learn more about cars 3) save me some damn gas money

What do ya'll think?
